Aronyak has long been known in Indian chess circles as one of the strongest International Masters in the country. With a rating around 2555, many believed Grandmaster status was only a matter of time.
The 22-year-old is also known for his creative style and surprise openings, often choosing unusual ideas over predictable play. His fearless approach has made him one of the most exciting Indian players to watch.
Earlier in 2026, Aronyak also won the National Rapid Championship, scoring 9.5/11 unbeaten, showing excellent form throughout the year.
